Time to take a quick break from working on that Silver Saga animated adaptation project!


I decided to go and practice some speed painting by drawing and colouring fanart of the SONIC UNIVERSE series. I do this by doing quick sketches of scenes that I remember from the comics, then I follow it up by a finishing off the piece with colour as quickly as possible. The aim is to get the colours right. Each exercise will allow me to experiment with different colours and determining which colour set suits best for the drawing.


On this occasion I went for apple green and violet-blue complimentary colours and see how it goes. This was the result.


For those who are curious about this scene it is taken from Sonic The Hedgehog (Archie) #168 where Shadow the Hedgehog is quickly taken down by the A.D.A.M. infected Tommy Turtle.

I couldn't believe how little effort it took for A.D.A.M. to defeat the ultimate life form! LMAO!! XXD That was something I'll never forget from the series. It was done in like 2 pages or something like that. XP


Anyways I had to do a Shadow piece, everybody loves him and I'd like to thank for her recent sketches of Shadow too... They're really cool and inspiring.
