Just been playing around with Photoshop for the past hour on how the brand new graphic concept 'ASHWORTH' would look like for a cover.

This time I want to keep things real simple even the design of the title and the book cover!

I decided to take advice from a rising star graphic novelist Jason Brubaker (creator of his very successful reMIND series) regarding comic fonts.

Clearly to keep your graphic novel original you can start by customising the lettering to your dialogue. I used a font generator site that Jason suggest called 'YourFonts.com' to crate my own custom made letters. For $9.95 it's well worth the investment since you can imprint a signature style to your own using your own hand-writing! What you see on the drawing is completely my own handwriting created through that website.

Thanks Jason for the awesome initiative, I told you already, from time and time again, that you can learn so much from the guy.

Anyways time to move on to more concept pictures of 'ASHWORTH'. Details about the story are strictly kept under wraps for the moment. I'm going to let my holiday trip to Canada and the United States help inspire me more on developing the story, characters and ending that I very much needed after all these years working on the web-comic project.

Be right back with more 'ASHWORTH - Tales of the Cursed Wombat'.

Don't leave us hanging there for too long, ok? :giggle: I'll be looking forward to the updates about this!

Seems like someone here decide to not follow blue thing anymore =D
I like Ashworth's new look. Is just a portion there, but I like. I always found him pretty intimidating-looking but looks cool. Excellent!
Simplicity sometimes is more attractive. But to be blunt, I never expected to you want to try that, lol. You always liked to draw everything very detailed as possible.
Is a new good road.
Did you noticed that is the 3rd time that you change the series by complete in 4 years? XD
